about

Travelling across the cotswolds. EC Vanderhyde conducts a raucous, haunting and vivid experience of the Oxfordshire lifestyle through his own eyes. The record is comprised of songs written in over 6 years. Inspiration coming from contemporary music infused with traditional folk music from the British Isles.

Recorded in Oxfordshire, UK i.e.. council estate for the working class, inside community centre dance hall, Oxford action resource centre and the streets of Oxford City, UK

The title refers to how our modern culture in the UK is non-direct and passive and on the other hand a place of freethinkers and peace. The republic of Ireland national flag which comes from a faith point of view representing two particular denominations of Christianity i.e. Green catholicism, and Orange representing protestants the white in the middle represents the peace between all ways.
